ariika, founded by Ahmed Baqer in 2018, is an e-commerce company that provides a unique online shopping experience in Iraq for innovative bean bag furniture. ariika launched with two initial products and has expanded to selling eleven products. Since launch, they have sold 10,000+ ariikas to 4,000+ houses/offices all over Iraq. ariika’s business expanded greatly during 2020, with $166,733 generated in revenue and a positive EBITA of 13.7%, with a 1.5x YoY growth. ariika is looking for investment to continue scaling its product and service lines across Iraq.
