Chera, founded by Chrakhan Bestoon in 2020 in Sulaimani, has already reached many impressive milestones. Chera is an e-commerce site selling its own 100% natural haircare line of five different products that are vegan, cruelty-free, and environmentally friendly. Chera has generated $13k of net income in its first months of operating, has four employees, and recently won seed funding through IOM. Chrakhan also recently won the Rwanga Entrepreneurship Award. Chera is currently building out its website and plans to expand across Iraq in the next year.
